This is the lower left quadrant of the grunge board quilt I made in class Saturday. I'm putting it up for Ruby Tuesday 2. The pieces fit into a 12x12 frame that I'll add tomorrow. Some of the squares are stitched together as you can see. I used an awl to pound the holes thru the grunge board, glue, and paper backing. Once I've decided where to add more stitches, I'll complete it and frame it. It will be the first piece of art I've framed aside from my photos.
I've also decided to join in the fun at Mellow Yellow Monday with this photograph.
And Macro Monday.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. The quilt is very neat. Enjoyed the photos of the one in a previous post as well.
I've just learnt something! I have never heard of a grunge board quilt! Such an intriguing art form! Beautiful mosaic of images!
nice pic!
Wow! That is sooo cool. Never thought about hand stitching paper too much. But I love it!!
Great art. Must be double clicked to really display the many intriguing details. I simply love it.
I love quilts, when they are finished, lol ! I can't sew !
that is a nice card. :)
Your piece proves that there's a use for everything--even things that seem to be useless!
