My new challenge is to take photos of myself, called Selfies. This month is just body parts. So last night when my son came to visit I decided to photograph my eyeball. I had trouble with the lens at first because I was holding the camera towards me. Turns out I was holding the camera by the lens. Duhhh! That's why it couldn't auto focus. So then I figured out how to hold it but I couldn't get close enough to my eye. I kept snapping shots of a weirdly distorted face. Mine! I was laughing at myself. I tried to photograph myself laughing and that made me laugh even harder. I could hardly breathe. I was laughing so hard and for so long my ribs were aching. My son just looks at me and shakes his head. I threw out the other shots and kept the one of my ear.
It's time for Haiku My Heart so I think I'll write a one.
H - E - A - R - T
"Ear" and "hear" and "art" and "earth"
All in the one word.
Come back tomorrow for Writing On the Wall. While your at it, pick up the badge on my sidebar. Thanks in advance.

Cool! You have a beautiful ear! I love this idea of Selfies. (Sounds a lot like Selkies, of which I am drawn to to such a large degree.)
Good Haiku to go along as well. Makes me happy to see you having fun!
Much Peace
I will take HEART from your photo explorations or should I say ear!
Nice post,

Your post had me chuckling.
Thank you.
I had never heard of the selfies, but I checked it out. I like that idea very much. Your ear is beautiful, a shell, but your haiku simply knocks me out. Thanks.
Interesting photo, and your haiku matches the it quite well :)
Your story of taking the selfie photos cracked me up.
I tried to make a series of myself in the same way - with the same results... now you got ME laughing hard too!!! Love the haiku!
