Wordle 39

Wordle 39
The object of the game is to write a poem using all the words in the box. This week there are a baker's dozen.

Kneeling on the crisp
broad surface of the king's bed
I contemplate life.

My resolution
to be a dormant housewife
picture of still life.

A reel spectacle
played vain opportunity
depth of lies twisted.

Dotted line I signed
divorced by a dormant judge
surface returns smooth.

Now I linger on shore
my rod and reel comfort me
poetry in worms.

Lots of women's ambition is to be a dormant housewife. A nice twist, with a moral, Cheryl.

That final stanza could make it into plenty of homes. Stick a big old copywrite C on it.

Poetry in worms...Powerful!
Poetry in everything. Nicely said. I'm glad this person discovered their true wealth.

And how lovely that the surface returns smooth, so that the speaker can linger and be comforted and make poetry with worms.

I'm with everybody else, Cheryl, poetry in worms is amazing phrasing. That last stanza is a strong ending.
